Know Who You’re Hauling With.
Before You Tender the Load.

A clean MC lookup is where the conversation starts, not where it ends. Authority age, insurance filings, safety history, identity changes, the fraud patterns that look exactly like a legitimate carrier until the freight disappears. X3 CarrierCheck turns the public record into one evidence-led verdict your team can explain, applies a consistent qualification policy, and re-checks every carrier you watch every day.

What CarrierCheck reads on every carrier
The cost of a fast yes

Good Authority Is the Beginning of the Conversation. Not the End.

The load is hot, the rate is right, the carrier answers on the first ring, and the MC lookup comes back active. Then the freight never arrives, or the insurance lapsed last month, or the “carrier” is a two-week-old authority wearing a twenty-year-old name. Legitimate carriers deserve a fair, evidence-backed read. Your team deserves a decision before freight, money and reputation are exposed — and a reason they can put in writing.

A lookup returns fields. Your team needs a verdict.

X3 Intelligence

One USDOT In. One Verdict Your Team Can Explain Out.

Enter a USDOT number and CarrierCheck pulls the live public record — authority, insurance, safety, inspections, crashes, identity history — and runs it through six engines that interpret the record instead of dumping it on you. Every output points to its evidence, its freshness, and what to review next.

Identity & authority

Confirm the entity, operating authority, age, status and identity changes before a load moves.

Safety intelligence

The X3 Carrier Risk Score out of 100 with the BASIC, inspection, crash and OOS drivers behind it.

Fraud shield

Authority, identity-change, contact and shared-equipment anomalies surfaced as sourced indicators worth reviewing — never accusations.

Qualification engine

Your own authority-age, insurance, OOS and fraud policy applied for a repeatable Approved / Conditional / Review / Rejected result.

Continuous monitoring

Every carrier you watch is re-checked against the live FMCSA record every day. Authority, out-of-service, BASIC, crash and OOS-rate changes appear in your Alerts and in a daily email.

Portfolio intelligence

One read across the carriers in your workspace: tracked, watched, and open items to review.

Stop reading raw data dumps. Start making decisions with the evidence attached.

Six engines, one decision

Make a Carrier Decision Your Whole Team Can Stand Behind.

Each engine interprets one part of the record and shows its evidence. Together they turn a USDOT number into a verdict, a score, a fraud read, a policy result, a watch and a network view.

A faster qualification loop

From DOT Number to Defensible Decision.

The whole loop takes less time than the phone call — and leaves a timestamped, shareable record of why you said yes, no, or not yet.

01

Search the carrier

Start with a USDOT number, or the carrier profile already in your portfolio.

02

Read the signals

Six engines translate authority, safety, fraud, qualification, monitoring and network context.

03

Apply the policy

Authority status, the risk score and OOS history return a repeatable qualification result.

04

Ask for what’s missing

Missing data is shown as missing — request the insurance certificate or the inspection history before you tender.

05

Act with confidence

Approve, ask for evidence, or pause the tender, with the reasons attached.

06

Watch what you approve

Watch approved carriers — included in your subscription — and X3 re-checks them every day; changes appear in your Alerts and in a daily email.

Continuous monitoring

The Carrier You Approved in March Isn’t the Carrier You’re Tendering to in June.

Authorities go inactive, insurance cancels, safety ratings change, contacts get swapped — and the load still goes out on the strength of a check somebody ran three months ago. CarrierCheck re-checks every carrier you watch against the live FMCSA record every day and flags the changes that matter — authority status, out-of-service orders, CSA BASICs, new crashes — in your Alerts and in a daily email, so the tender is decided on today’s facts, not March’s.

The outcome

Move Freight With More Certainty.

A brokerage that vets with evidence tenders faster, loses less to fraud, and can show a shipper or an insurer exactly why a carrier was approved. One that vets with a lookup and a phone call finds out the hard way. CarrierCheck puts your team in the first group — one carrier at a time, and then the whole network.

X3 CarrierCheck presents risk indicators built on FMCSA facts and inspection data — not grudge reports, and not a legal, financial, credit, employment or hiring determination. FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

What brokers, shippers and risk teams ask before they put CarrierCheck in front of the tender.

X3 CarrierCheck: a black tractor under a ring of cyan light on a wet black floor
Isn’t this just an MC lookup?
No. A lookup returns fields. CarrierCheck interprets authority, safety, insurance, identity, fraud indicators and your own qualification policy into a decision with evidence attached.
Where does the data come from?
Public FMCSA facts and inspection data, refreshed on each lookup. Your policy and monitoring history are clearly labeled as customer or derived data. Missing data is shown as missing.
Is this a credit or FCRA check?
No. This is a DOT safety-and-authority vetting read built from public business signals, not a consumer credit or employment report. Your team makes the final business decision.
What are fraud signals?
Authority, identity-change, contact and shared-equipment anomalies surfaced as sourced indicators worth reviewing — the patterns that often precede double-brokering and identity theft. They are review indicators, never accusations.
Can I use my own qualification rules?
Not yet. Today every carrier gets the same default policy — authority status, the risk score and OOS history — for a repeatable Approved, Conditional, Review or Rejected result. Custom thresholds are on the roadmap; tell us yours.
How fresh are the results?
Live lookups refresh the carrier record each time. Every carrier you watch is also re-checked every day; material changes appear in your Alerts and in a daily email.
Does it work with my other X3 products?
Yes. One X3 login connects your work across the family; CarrierCheck stays focused on the external carrier you’re evaluating, and APIs and white-label options connect it to your booking flow.
How does pricing work?
$49 a month for the service, with daily monitoring included, plus $5 a month for each DOT number you check. One carrier is $54 a month; ten are $99. Secure self-serve checkout through Stripe; cancel any time.
Before the tender, not after the claim.
